How the score works

Each pair is scored on the stripped names already in Walz’s data (na / nb — no Street/Avenue/Road).

Rhyme tail from the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary: last primary-stressed vowel through the end of the word.
Type: Triple / Double (extra rhyming syllables) beat a one-syllable Perfect. Phrase = two-word names whose last words lock. Mosaic = two or more aligned content words rhyme (Old Dairy & Gold Berry).
Penalties for overused families (Hill/Mill, Fourth/North, Creek/Peak), identical stems, and tiny common pairs (Bay/Way).

This is rhyme strength, not Walz’s browse/discovery ranking. A 18 on Hill & Mill still rhymes. It just rhymes the same way 800 other corners do.
